As a Counselling Psychologist I am chartered by British Psychology Society (BPS) and registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I meet the high qualification and professional standards set by both organisations and follow BPS code of ethics.

Experience and Background

Following my BSc and MSc studies, I have trained to a doctoral level in psychology. As a counselling psychologist I have been trained in different psychotherapeutic modalities. I integrate these evidence-based therapies and take into consideration each client’s background, history and circumstances to ensure most comprehensive support. My work is underpinned by relational and humanistic approach, which means that I am interested in the whole person as well as in the uniqueness of each individual. You can see more about my qualifications at the end of this page.

I have an extensive experience of providing counselling therapy to clients within a broad range of healthcare organisations. I have worked in NHS England, including Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, PutneyMead Group Medical Practice and Enfield, Barnet and Harringay NHS Trust, as well as in private and charity organisations. My qualification and experience equip me to work with a variety of clients and emotional challenges.

Throughout my life I have travelled frequently for work and leisure and also relocated several times to different countries (in Europe and Middle East). This experience enhanced my appreciation and respect for individual and cultural diversity. It also gave rise to my specific interest in challenges with relocation, settling in a different culture and expatriate experience.

Before moving to healthcare, I held jobs in various industries including hospitality and corporate background. My work in human resource management gave me a good understanding of different work environments and workplace issues including managing high pressure, stress and burnout.

The above experiences also increased my understanding of how life changes, circumstances and personal struggles can have impact on inner equilibrium, self esteem and identity, as well as social and personal life, leading to difficulties such as anxiety and depression. It also contributed to my special interest in anxiety related issues.
